Here are some more examples of poor pipework installations.

One of the problems with insufficiently supported pipework is it can cause joints to leak and refrigerant loss. This will result in lack of cooling / heating and eventually if the system continues to run without refrigerant likely to cause compressor failure – which can be expensive to replace.

Aside from the issues it demonstrates a lack of pride in the install.
